Pocket Sathi - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pocket Sathi (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Pocket Sathi application or services, you (“user”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the App.
1. Services Offered
Pocket Sathi provides a platform for users to transfer money from their credit cards to UPI-linked bank accounts, enabling greater flexibility in financial management.
2. Eligibility
To use the Pocket Sathi services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have a valid Indian credit card and UPI ID;
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
- Use the service only for lawful and personal purposes.
3. KYC & Verification
You may be required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification as per RBI guidelines. You agree to provide accurate and truthful information and authorize us to share it with our banking or payment partners for verification.
4. Transaction Limits
Pocket Sathi may impose transaction limits, including:
- Daily, weekly, or monthly caps
- Minimum or maximum transfer amounts
- These limits are subject to change without notice, in accordance with regulatory requirements or our internal risk policies.
5. Fees & Charges
- A service fee and applicable taxes may be charged on each transfer.
- The fee structure will be displayed during the transaction process.
- Fees once charged are non-refundable unless the transaction fails due to a technical error on our part.
6. Refunds & Failed Transactions
In case of failed transactions, the debited amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 working days. For delays beyond this, please contact our support team.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Pocket Sathi for:
- Money laundering or fraudulent activities;
- Funding illegal or restricted transactions;
- Transferring money on behalf of third parties without their consent.
Violation of this section may lead to account suspension or legal action.
8. Third-Party Services
Pocket Sathi may integrate with third-party payment gateways, credit card issuers, banks, or UPI providers. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of services offered by third parties.
9. Data Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and store your personal and financial data.
10. Limitation of Liability
Pocket Sathi is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses;
- Issues arising from the misuse of your device or credentials;
- Failures due to third-party banking networks or internet connectivity.
Use the service at your own risk.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Updates will be posted within the App or on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
